How to Report Issues

The following contains all the information you need to make sure that your issues can be addressed promptly.

Questions and Answers

Feature Requests

  • Suggestions for new features, improvements, or enhancements to the game are best reported on

Bugs and Crashes

  • Issues that negatively affect the game's performance, functionality, or user experience are best reported on

  • Make sure to include a log file (see below), screenshot, and information such as operating system and version when reporting a bug.

Log Files

  • UltraStar Play uses log files for diagnosing and fixing bugs. They contain detailed information about the game's operations and any errors that occur.
  • Log files can be opened from within the development options.
    • From the start screen go to Settings > Development > Log Folder.
  • A special log file named Player.log should be included in bug reports in case of a crash, i.e., when the application has exited unexpectedly. The file contains additional information in this case.
    • The Player.log file is in the Data folder. This folder can be opened from the development options as well.

View Log Console

  • In addition to log fiels, you can view the log console from within the game at any time by pressing F7 or via the corresponding button in the development options.
